Biography

Thomas M. Smith’s practice is focused primarily in the areas of real estate, title, and business law. In 1980 he was a founding member of the law firm now known as Smith & Collins, Attorneys At Law which, from its inception, has specialized in real estate law. In 1983 he was certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Smith maintains an “AV” Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, signifying the highest level of professionalism in terms of legal ability and ethical standards.

Community Involvement

Mr. Smith is a volunteer and current board member of the North Texas Council for International Visitors. This organization coordinates with the United States State Department foreign visitors who visit the North Texas Area. For many years he was a board member of the Dallas Arboretum and Chaired the Architecture and Construction Committee. He has been a member of the Education Committee of the DFW Association of Realtors since 1988.
